Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—The Allied Health Awards are an opportunity to recognise the dedication, compassion and professionalism of allied health workers across New South Wales. These awards celebrate the individuals who make an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients and communities every day. I would like to congratulate Emily Clough and Jennifer Nolan on their remarkable achievements at the 2025 Allied Health Awards. Emily Clough was named Allied Health Assistant, Technician or Support Person of the Year, a well-deserved recognition of her passion and commitment to patient care. At such a young age, Emily has already demonstrated exceptional skill, empathy and dedication to improving outcomes for those she supports. Jennifer Nolan received the honour of Allied Health Professional of the Year for her outstanding contributions to clinical excellence, leadership, education and workplace culture. Her professionalism and compassion have made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and patients. Emily and Jennifer are both valued members of the Hunter New England Health community and serve as an inspiration to the next generation of health care professionals. I warmly congratulate them on their outstanding achievements and thank them for their dedication to their patients and profession.
A Community Recognition Notice is an opportunity for an MP to submit a short statement praising the work of an individual or group in the local community. If you have any ideas about people I can recognise with a Community Recognition Notice, please email and let me know!
