Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—ATUNE Health Centres has been named Business of the Year at the 2026 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards, recognising its outstanding contribution to healthcare across the Hunter region. Established in 2006, ATUNE is a locally grown organisation that brings medical, allied health, psychological and complementary health services together under one roof. This integrated approach makes healthcare more accessible and coordinated, allowing local residents to receive comprehensive support within a connected network of trusted professionals. ATUNE's commitment to accessible care, health education and specialist services makes a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of people each year. The organisation also creates valuable local employment opportunities and demonstrates the impact that innovation, collaboration and a genuine commitment to community wellbeing can have across the region. ATUNE also received the Excellence in Large Business award, while Operations Manager Maria McIntyre was recognised with the Outstanding Employee award.
