Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Claire Coelho on her selection as Goalkeeper Coach for the A-League Women's All Stars team. Claire's appointment is a well-deserved recognition of her dedication to football and the significant contribution she has made to the sport in our region. After spending a decade representing the Newcastle Jets as a player, Claire transitioned into coaching, working within the club's Academy before being appointed Goalkeeper Coach of the A-League Women's side. What makes Claire's achievement particularly inspiring is her commitment to giving back to the game that has given her so much. Through her coaching roles with the Newcastle Jets and the Northern New South Wales Football Talent Support Program, she continues to support and develop the next generation of players, helping young athletes reach their potential. Claire's journey from local player to elite coach demonstrates the opportunities that can be created through hard work, perseverance and a passion for community sport. She is an outstanding role model for aspiring footballers across our region, and I wish her every success in this exciting opportunity.
