Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—Emily Nolan has represented the Lake Macquarie community with pride through her recent participation in the International Talent Award program in Cattolica, Italy. As a student of Lake Macquarie Dance Academy in Warners Bay, Emily travelled overseas during Term 1 after receiving the opportunity to take part in this prestigious international experience. During her time in Italy, Emily trained with some of the world's leading dance institutions, including the English National Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet Academy and Hamburg Ballet School. She also participated in pre professional classes in Florence and Rome, gaining invaluable experience within an elite international training environment. Working alongside talented dancers from around the world, Emily demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication and commitment to her craft throughout the program. The opportunity to learn from internationally renowned faculties and immerse herself in a global pre professional setting will no doubt support her continued growth and development as a dancer. Emily's achievements are a testament to her hard work and passion for dance, and her success is a source of great pride for the Lake Macquarie community.
