26 March 2026

Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Hannah Mansfield, a student of Cardiff High School, on her inclusion in the First Class 25 exhibition at the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang. This exhibition celebrates the exceptional achievements of the 2025 HSC Visual Arts cohort and provides a platform for young people to share their creativity with the wider community. Hannah's artwork, The Dying Blue, created using textile and fibre, reflects her strong commitment to her artmaking and her engagement with important global issues. Her work highlights the impact of pollution and environmental neglect on coral ecosystems, drawing attention to the effects of bleaching and waste on the natural world. Being selected for this exhibition is a significant accomplishment and a testament to Hannah's dedication, creativity and hard work throughout her HSC studies. Her achievement showcases the talent emerging from Cardiff High School and encourages important conversations within our community. I congratulate Hannah on this wonderful achievement and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
