Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Richard J for his outstanding community service to Lakeside School and for the positive contribution he has made to the school community. Richard is a deserving recipient of my Community Service Award, which recognises students who demonstrate meaningful community involvement, a strong social conscience and active participation in school life. Having been part of the Lakeside School community since kindergarten, Richard has played a key role in creating a positive, respectful and inclusive environment. Richard consistently conducts himself with maturity, politeness and enthusiasm. He is well mannered, approachable and brings a positive attitude to everything he does, making him a valued and respected member of the school community. These qualities were reflected in his election as School Captain for 2026, a role earned through the trust and confidence of his peers and teachers. As Richard commences Year 12 in 2026, his leadership and commitment to Lakeside School will continue to make a meaningful difference. I was proud to recognise Richard with a Community Service Award to Richard at the school's end of year presentation. Congratulations on a wonderful year of schooling and thank you for your outstanding service to the Lakeside School community.
