Stephanie de Sousa

Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to recognise a local success story that is truly cooking up a storm, with Stephanie de Sousa continuing to make her mark as one of Australia's most loved voices in budget-conscious family cooking. Since appearing on MasterChef Australia in 2019, Steph has found her true calling in the kitchen and has become a trusted voice for creating affordable, delicious and stress-free meals that anyone can make at home. Through her warm, relatable and down-to-earth approach, she has inspired thousands of Australians with simple recipes that take the stress out of answering the daily question, "What are we having for dinner?" Steph's online audience continues to grow, and she has recently embarked on her very first 12-date national book tour in support of her newly released cookbook, No Stress Recipe Queen. She has also just finished filming season two of The Frugal Foodie, which premieres on 2 May, and her Easy Recipe Gang website now offers a service to help even more families put affordable and tasty meals on the table. I congratulate Steph on her incredible success and look forward to seeing what she serves up next.
