Warners Bay Public School Aerobics Team

23 September 2026

Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—Warners Bay Public School students have proudly represented our community on the national stage at the recent School Aerobics National Championships on the Sunshine Coast. The school's aerobics teams and pairs competed against talented students from across Australia, achieving some outstanding results. Maddy and Lena earned an impressive silver medal in the Pairs and Trios category, while the Wildfires came agonisingly close to joining them on the podium, missing out on bronze by just 0.1 points. The Wildcats achieved a fantastic sixth-place finish, as did Annabella and Callie in their highly competitive division. Reaching a national championship is an achievement in itself and reflects the many hours of training, teamwork and commitment these students have put into their sport. I also recognise Miss Em for the passion, knowledge and time she has dedicated to coaching the teams, alongside Miss Morton and Miss Davis for their encouragement and support throughout the year. Congratulations to Maddy, Lena, Annabella, Callie and every member of the Wildfires and Wildcats. Warners Bay Public School should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.
